This is a second verison of the concept of "The East Meets The West" for symbolise the fusion of Eastern and Western cultures, a melting pot of peoples, their traditions and styles, and their ways of living past century.
Ideas for this piece evolved from photographs taken from
my travels as well as media such as movie, news, book and internet. My albums are an amalgam of traditionally Oriental scenes
and Western images which is featuring the cultural diversity.
The painting on the right is awesome! You did an incredible job with the ruffles on the dress. The only thing that strikes me odd about these is that you're in a dangerous balance between creative placement of figures, and just having them float in an infinite void. So far they don't feel too out of place though, so good job. :)
