  1. I think your figures are beautiful Jane! They feel fragile, or maybe peaceful, depending on how you look at them. I love the contrast in tempurature in the one at the top.

    1. These are life paintings so the model did good poses. The figure paintings is very hard for me so.. I need some more practices :(

  3. These images have a lot of emotion and thought conveyed through them, which is very good to see. A lot of times with paintings of figures, it's obviously just a pose for a painting and nothing more; no depth, no thought. These, however, make one wonder what's going on... They both seem to be fraught with some sort of weight. The top one is frustrated to me; the bottom one is sad.

    As far as technique, I really like the abstract nature of these paintings. It does a lot for the overall image.
